The northeast corridor of the century square.
Pudong Century Square, Shanghai, is a very beautiful place. It's a transportation hub, of both metro line and coach buses. It's an administrative and cultural zone, district government buildings, science and technology museum, and a theatre all around here. And thre is another attraction, the underground market. Always people in droves flock here, many of them from outside of Shanghai who are strange here.
To be around the century square is my hobby, to promenade for a workout, or evening running nearby. The century square is better equipped, in better shape. There are four toilets around it, quite clean and well managed, the keepers are always busy sweeping. So it's convenient to be there, somewhere to release.
Sometimes I stay at the century square on the evening, other than in the daytime. when I am at the century square on the evening, it's sure during lingering rainy days, it's very wet outside, I can't go running on the running path. In case of long-lasting rainy days, the corridor of the century square is the oasis, the Noah's Ark for me.
On the third evening of the Lunar New Year of 2019, I went to the century square again. A lasting winter rain days period began, the rain incessantly dropped, sometimes with thin threads, sometimes directly fog. the air is very damp, and moisture is pervasive, nowhere was dry. In a rainy day I cant's run, because the wet path would soak my shoes. I went to the century square corridor to take shelter for a walk instead. First the southwest corridor. To my surprise, a quilt roll laid there, a man crawled in the one end tunnel, the other end was tied tight with a rope. The one end tunnel quilt is for keeping some warm, the temperature very low at night. There was no even a mattress, the quilt directly on the concrete floor, how cold was it only the man in the roll tunnel knew. This is first time I saw a vagrant-liking man's sleep, in person. Immediately I was aware what's the situation, I slipped away, left the man having his dream. I went to east side, almost same scenes staged, and amplified to two roll tunnels. I had to left the east side, again. I would have to disturb no one's dream. At last I got to the northeast corner, it's hopeful here no roll tunnel anymore.

Lingering winter rain incessantly dropped down, made the earth very wet, on February 15, 2019.
The same evening of last picture, under the corridor it's quite dry. Have you seen the black spot at other end of the corridor?
I kept a close look at it, It's a little house. Not to mention there was a roll tunnel inside. This is a delicate case, typically there isn't a little house.
